Common questions
I bought Pro but still see ads.
Open Settings → Restore Purchase while signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you bought with. The ads go away as soon as the purchase is restored.
How do I restore a backup?
Open Settings → Import backup and pick a JSON or CSV file. Envello also keeps the last 7 daily copies on your device — open Settings → Automatic backups to restore one.
How do I change my ad privacy choices?
If you're in a region where consent is required, such as the EEA or the UK, open Settings → Ad Privacy Options at any time. On iPhone and iPad you can also manage tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
My numbers don't match my bank.
Open the wallet or envelope, tap Reconcile and enter the real balance. Envello records the difference as a dated adjustment.
How do I start over?
Settings → Clear App Data permanently deletes all budgets, transactions and settings on this device. Export a backup first if you might want them back.
Is Envello free?
Yes. You can download and use Envello for free; the free version shows banner ads and has a few limits (for example, up to 12 envelopes). Pro removes the ads and the limits.
Is Pro a subscription?
No. Pro is a one-time purchase. You pay once and keep it, including future updates. There's nothing to renew or cancel.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your budget is stored on your device, not on our servers.
How do I move my budget to a new phone?
Export a backup file in Settings (a Pro feature), then use Import backup on the new device. Restore Pro on the new device with Restore Purchase.
How do I delete my data?
Open Settings → Clear App Data, or simply uninstall the app. Because your budget only lives on your device, that removes it completely.
